‘Finding Series’ was first explored at Namwon, South Korea, titled ‘Finding Pansori’. Ng Chor Guan collected local audio and visual footages especially from waterfall area deep in the mountains, to depict the training process of traditional pansori singer in the forest reserved area of Namwon. The process of a pansori singer training took years and waterfall depict their hair, years and determination spent in the mountains. This project was presented as an audio-visual installation for audience to enjoy an immersive experience representing pansori singer training.
