If scientists have succeeded in cloning humans, it will be via test-tube babies. And several un-legal procedures. In a lab, then, there will be not one clone, but two (two hundred!). They will be similar; they’ll be perfect. If a scientist was reckless: she will have acquired a time machine. Machines, inevitably fail, you know. And time machines explode. With clones in them, sometimes. The clones will have died. Or maybe they haven’t.
The Arrival is a performance discussing time and connections via an open interpretation narrative of clones travelling across times to reunite.
